Suffolk Offset doesn´t believe in standing still - that´s why we were probably the first printer in the area to install a fully computer-based design studio, and one of the first to move to CTP (Computer to Plate) technology. We recognised early on that unless we moved with the times we would quickly be left behind, and being one of the leaders in the field of printing we aim to stay ahead of the game - and this means giving our customers the greatest choice as well as good service, high quality and great value prices.
Suffolk Offset have been quick to anticipate the benefits of digital printing especially for short run, small format work - providing greater flexibility particularly with regard to variable data, reduced lead times and lower start-up cost. Resulting in the successful launch of our new division Suffolk Digital.
However on longer run, large format jobs, there is little to touch the impressive output produced on our Heidelberg (the Rolls-Royce of printing machines) presses and this is where Suffolk Offset, together with Suffolk Digital can score over competitors that can only offer a single technology.
In short we believe that we can offer our customers the best of both worlds – our long-term litho clients can now take advantage of the flexibility and speed of our digital service, and our new Suffolk Digital clients have access to the decades of vast experience of design, printing and finishing that we’ve built up at Suffolk Offset – as well as having access to our litho printing service for the jobs best suited to that.
